The rules that govern your use of Savian Academy's website and tuition platform. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy.
Last updated: 31 July 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Savian Academy website and online tuition platform (the "Service"), operated by Savian Academy Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account, booking a demo class, or subscribing to a plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are registering on behalf of a child, you confirm you are that child's parent or legal guardian and are entering into this agreement on their behalf.

Company No. [Pending — to be confirmed by client]
Registered office address: [Pending]
We provide one-on-one online tuition, following the UK curriculum (Grades 1–12), to students primarily based in the UK and Europe.
Registering a parent account places you in our Free Tier: you can browse the platform and book a single free demo class, but other features remain locked until an admin activates your account following that demo.
Child (student) accounts are created by a parent after subscribing to a plan, not at initial registration. One parent account may manage multiple child accounts, each with its own subscription and schedule.
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We offer the following plans, billed monthly in GBP via Stripe, per child:
Price is calculated as the number of classes multiplied by our current per-hour rate. If you have more than one child, each has a separate subscription billed independently, even though they share one Stripe customer profile.
Changes to your plan (upgrades, downgrades, or cancellation) take effect from the start of your next billing cycle — we do not prorate mid-cycle changes. Full cancellation terms are set out in our Cancellation Policy.
Classes take place over our integrated video platform. Tutors set their weekly availability in Indian Standard Time (IST); the times you see when booking are automatically converted to your own local timezone.
Where a class is recorded for quality and safeguarding purposes, you will see a consent notice before the recording starts. Recordings are accessible only to our admin team — students and parents do not have direct access to recordings.
All tutors complete a background (DBS) check before teaching. We assign one tutor per student for continuity rather than rotating teachers between sessions.
To protect the privacy of both tutors and students, only first names are shared between them, and all communication is routed through the platform's built-in chat rather than personal contact details. Please do not attempt to exchange personal contact information with a tutor or student outside the platform.
Where a class includes a formal assessment, the assessment paper is released to the parent portal only. A parent must supervise the assessment and upload the completed answer sheet, which the tutor then marks. Results are shared with both parent and student at the same time. This process exists to protect the integrity of assessment results.
You agree not to:
All course materials, branding, and platform content remain the property of Savian Academy Ltd or our licensors. You may use materials provided to you for personal study purposes only, and may not reproduce or redistribute them without permission.
We provide the Service on an "as available" basis and aim for high reliability, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your parent portal, subject to our Cancellation Policy. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, including any attempt to circumvent the anonymity rule or misuse the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example as new features launch or regulatory requirements change. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where changes are material, notify you by email.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@savianacademy.com, or via our Contact page.
